Same idea to its predecessor, and I wasn't as terrified this time (except that I've never brought myself to watch the last movie, about the hitchhiker).
The first one, about the Indian that comes to life, was a good idea but not terribly scary, the second one about the kids stuck on the raft was a great idea well executed but again not as scary as most of the original. However, they got a new director so some of the credibility had automatically worn off.
