Pulp Fiction for the party set, Doug Liman takes a lot of structural and scripting cues from QT's genre-defining pulp noir.

Zeroing in on a small group of twentysomething hipsters in pursuit of good speed for an Xmas themed dance party, fame and pussy, we settle on each character for a chapter and then branch off from whatever tangent joins them together to watch the exploits of another.

Very well told in a way where you're the participant in the story simply by the directions in which you fly overhead in the lives of these people, their own personal dramas unfolding in an inventively told narrative. A cool, subversive blend of larger than life people and the few days in which they all clash.
