It's a completely hatstand rom-com where Kirsty Alley has a baby to philanderer George Segal, Travolta the taxi driver whose cab she stumbles into to et to the hospital. The two end up closely entwined and eventually fall in Hollylove.
The hook is the smart-alecky voiceover by Bruce Willis as the inner thoughts of baby Mikey. Was it enough to sell a film on? If you didn't expect too much. Somebody thought so, producing two more sequels.
A bland effort from the otherwise highly regarded Amy (Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Clueless) Heckerling.
