With the Zucker brother's best years way behind them, it was left to the infinitely more peurile Wayans brothers to pick up the gag comedy mantle, and though mildly enjoyable and funny in parts, this spoof flubs too many laughs by being overly gross and not knowing when to quit.

I Know What You Did Last Summer and Scream cop it first time around, with Cindy (Faris) stalked by a ghost mask-clad killer who knows what her and her friends did when they ran over a man the previous year. The plot runs for about half an hour and goes off on plenty of stupid diversions that pile one lame gag on top of another.

I've got nothing against the gag comedy. Just look at Flying High, my favourite comedy of all time. It's just so easy to treat the whole thing lazily, not know when a joke goes on too long and make a mess of the whole thing.

Inexpicably influential (apart from the hordes of 13 year olds who obviously dug deep for it) in kicking off the ... Movie subgenre that lampoons popular movies of the time with jokes that range from mildly amusing to outright idiocy.
