The Stupids

Year: 1996
Production Co: Imagine Entertainment
Director: John Landis
Writer: Brent Forrester
Cast: Tom Arnold

It's all in the name, really. A family of intellectually challenged people led by Dad Tom Arnold stumble into a high-level military conspiracy and have to save the day.

I should fairly point out that there are some laughs if you're in the mood to be easily pleased, but it's frathouse humour and nothing too challenging. Like many of his fans, I've spent the 30 years so far wondering what happened to John Landis' talent after An American Werewolf in London.
