Back when The Young Ones was riding high, film careers for some of the cast were almost inevitable. This was the first cinematic outing by Adrian Edmonson as Dennis, the young man trying to impress a girl, and at the time all I remember is being disappointed because he didn't have the silver stars on his forehead, the orange punk hairdo or a propensity to hit Rik Mayall over the head with a cricket bat when he was bored.

While on holiday with his Mum, Dennis tries to act tough and worldly by convincing a girl he's trying to impress that he's a bagman for a big time drug import operation. She doesn't take much notice, but the police do, and Dennis digs himself deeper into a hole of his own making trying to get himself out of trouble.

A few funny lines, but it wasn't The Young Ones.
