Wimbledon

Year: 2004
Director: Richard Loncraine
Cast: Paul Bettany, Kirsten Dunst, Sam Neill
Well-edited film with a story that genuinely kept you along of tennis pro retiring in near disgrace after slipping down the ladder (Bettany), who falls for US female star in the making (Dunst).

He's a distraction to her and she loses, she's an inspiration to him and he wins. In between it all, there's some very cleverly filmed tennis (in most of the scenes the ball was CGI) and an engaging plot and cast and the real excitement of tennis whether you're a fan or not.
