I never thought the day would come when I'd groan at the news of another Indiana Jones film, but this week Harrison Ford talked up the very likely possibility that The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull will be followed up by another.

The almost $1bn haul would have Paramount in apoplexy at the chance of striking more gold and they'd be promising everything short of human sacrifice to Ford, Lucas, LeBeouf and Spielberg to bring them back, but the collective opinion of moviegoers everywhere will be 'why?'.

Cue lots of jokes about ancient buried tombs and lost cities with walking frame access...

I was also excited to hear that Forest Whitaker is starring and directing in a movie on the life of Louis B Armstrong. Sure he can be a ham when he tries too hard or the part doesn't suit him (watch his final speech in Street Kings) but after his chilling turn in Last King of Scotland there's nothing better than watching him inhabit a real person.
