Airheads

Year: 1994
Director: Michael Lehmann
Cast: Brendan Fraser, Steve Buscemi, Adam Sandler, Chris Farley, Michael McKean, Judd Nelson, Harold Ramis, David Arquette, Joe Mantegna
This looked like it was going to be a culmination of everything Brendan Fraser, Steve Buscemi and Adam Sandler have done right.

Instead it was a lacklustre movie that took one joke way too far. The trio are a rock group without much brain between them who hold up an independent radio station's studio to force the operators to play their demo tape so they can finally get a break.

With the police and newfound fans jostling outside, the hostages inside increasingly rebelling against their self-interested manager (McKean) and siding with the band, the guys trying to take control of the situation while short on ideas.

Not very funny and way below the strongest work done by each of the leads.
