Any Which Way You Can

Year: 1980
Director: Buddy Van Horn
Cast: Clint Eastwood, Sondra Locke, Geoffrey Lewis, Ruth Gordon
The sequel to one of Clint Eastwood's most successful franchises, it's basically a long set up for the final fight that starts in a barn and rages through a garden and then a fast food restaurant, if memory serves.

It was the staple of Friday night TV movie watching to me; the gang of bikers always trying to undo Beddoe; Lynne, Clyde and Orville in the background watching Philo's back.

I can still remember scenes like Philo leading the bikers through a rainstorm of highway asphalt and making frozen moments out of them all, the cocky highway cop who falls victim to Clyde's right turn, and Beddoe's backswing into nemesis/friend Jack Wilson. Classic late 70's Hollywood in the same truckin' old school that spawned Smokey and the Bandit.
