Body Count

Year: 1998
Director: Robert Patton-Spruill
Cast: David Caruso, Ving Rhames, John Leguizamo, Linda Fiorentino, Donnie Wahlberg, Forest Whitaker
A straight to video effort as far as I remember, and an unfortunate thing for David Caruso. He left NYPD Blue to do what George Clooney left ER for - a high profile film career. The only drawback was that every film he appeared in was more or less a failure.

But there's a cool ensemble cast and a lot of heist hijinks as a crew of crims try to navigate the law and each other's double crossing as they plan, execute and enjoy the spoils from their job when femme fatale Fiorentino walks in.

Great script, spot on performances and a slick resolution, it's been described as a more mature Reservoir Dogs, a fairly accurate assessment.
