A marketing dream, not only asking what you'd do of you were God for a day, but what America's favourite plastic man Jim Carrey would do? After complaining about fate once too often, reporter Bruce is visited by God (Morgan Freeman), given all his powers and told to do better if he can.

Cue half an hour of his girlfriend's breasts inflating overnight, causing dresses to blow up and arranging for everyone to win the lottery before the story gets to it's inevitable moral heart.

It follows the Carrey comedy formula to the letter - if you were a fan of his before he tried to get serious with Man on the Moon and Majestic, you'll find his antics a welcome return to form.
