One of the reasons I like Ron Perlman - he's as at home at a role like this Gilliam-esque headtrip as he is dressed in leathers fighting kicking arse in Alien Resurrection and Blade 2.
A fairly original premise like something out of a fairy tale. A mad scientist on a remote outpost in the middle of the ocean kidnaps children and steals their dreams to try to slow down ageing, Perlman is the hero who has to save the day.
Surreal and inventive, in both the sets and the camerawork.
