The Devil’s Own

Nothing special - an action thriller with slight differences from the norm.

Ford and Pitt play charismatic and personable leads - Pitt's Irish accent is great, one he'd take even further in Snatch years later.

An IRA terrorist comes to America to work out a weapons deal and hires a room at the home of a straight laced cop (Ford) and his wife, all of whom take an immediate liking to each other.

The proverbial hits the fan when the past catches up, and from there is descends into fairly standard - even if exciting - bloody action thriller fare.
