Don’t be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood

Following disparate career paths and the collaborative TV show In Living Colour, The Wayans tribe have coalesced into a comedy force in Hollywood with films like this, selecting a given genre and parodying it with all the subtlety of a sledgehammer between the eyes. They developed their style with later efforts - their style being the grossest, most overt gags in cinema, like The Naked Gun on acid. This time, they pick on the rash of urban gangland LA films (most of them having contributed to the title). Some funny moments; not much of a plot, but an excuse to string together an endless parade of tasteless humour.
