Dungeons & Dragons

Exciting enough special effects and cinematography, but with a plot that left absolutely no impact and not only years too late to cash in on the success of the game of the same name but of absolutely no interest to anyone who wasn't nerd enough to play it during the early 80's.

A youthful queen (Birch) is struggling to maintain power in a medieval setting while a ruthless senator (Irons) is determined to wrest power away and use dragons to fortify his position.

With a hero that's too pretty to be serious and his requisite sidekick (Wayans) trying to navigate their way through the sword and sorcery hijinks, it's mildly entertaining but hot much more.
