I heard a lot of critics at the time describe this as another Ghostbusters , and espite it being about three misfits who have to save the world and being directed by Ivan Reitman, I still can't see it.
Two college professors, a wannabe firefighter and a clumsy but beautiful scientist team up to overcome an organism that's arrived on earth in a meteor and is evolving at a frightening rate, unleashing dinosaurs in shopping malls, strange creatures in peoples houses and a monstrous globular mass that threatens to drown the whole town.
Funny in parts, but it didn't really grab me.
