Finding Forrester

Sweet and fairly cute story with interesting characterisations about a young, basketball playing ghetto homie with an unusual gift for literature and writing who wants to be more than he is and the reclusive author of one classic novel, long forgotten in the same Bronx neighbourhood. A fairly oft-tread premise as they become each others' teacher - Connery of literature, Brown of life in the outside world, with lots of photo ops like a baseball stadium and bicycle ride. Overall pretty good story well executed, with relevant subplots in neat orbit.
