An anime classic up among the best of them that I (like millions of others, I suppose) watched because it was part of the Wachowski brothers' inspiration for The Matrix.
It has a very confusing storyline that has something to do with a few government agencies, a computer hacker and a cyborg policewoman hunting down what seems to be an artificial intelligence.
The expected anime sex and violence make it worth watching even if the storyline leaves you confused.
