Haunted

Nice sharp little ghost story set in the early 20th century pits skeptic and fake medium buster Quinn against what's claimed to be a haunted house. The brothers and beautiful sister (Andrews and Beckinsale among them) who welcome him all seem lovely, as does the town doctor, but strange goings on among the family slowly convince him all isn't right owing to their absent mother who they all say is crazy and dangerous. Interesting and engaging throughout, and the massive plot twist at the end stand up to anything by M Night Shamalayan.
