Hideaway

Year: 1995
Studio: Tristar
Director: Brett Leonard
Writer: Dean Koontz
Cast: Jeff Goldblum, Alicia Silverstone, Alfred Molina, Rae Dawn Chong
A low-rent adaptation of a Dean Koontz story, Jeff Goldblum is a car accident victim who comes back to life after a near death experience to find he shares the mind of a murderer, occasionally blacking out and seeing what the killer sees.

Like most Stephen King adaptations, proof that sometimes a great idea doesn't translate across media. It needed far more of the nuance, characterisation and details than a 90 minute movie could offer.
