Inspector Gadget
Year: | 1999 |
Studio: | Disney |
Director: | David Kellogg |

Cast: | Mathew Broderick, Rupert Everett, Joely Fisher, Michelle Trachtenberg, Dabney Coleman, Rene Auberjonois, Richard Kiel |
Waste of time Disney retread with no point except to launch some licensing campaigns at fast food restaurants.
Matthew Broderick looks and sounds so unlike both the cartoon Gadget and the late great Don Adams who voiced him the film was hardly worthy of the name.
A generic villain/hero story is laid over the template and the usual milestones and plot markers punched out and fed through the Hollywood marketing grinder.
The sort of film that makes you realise some films don't deserve reviews because the story is the least important aspect of the business plan behind the project.
