Jaws 3D

Year: 1983
Director: Joe Alves
Cast: Dennis Quaid, Bess Armstrong, Louis Gossett Jr
A big part of the influence for Deep Blue Sea, at least in setting (more so than the original Jaws) as a new, ridiculously larged sized shark holding a ocean-sized grudge terrorises an underwater theme park. Released in theatres in 3D with some very cheesy effects that look even worse on TV (the shark ramming the window glass of the underwater lab). Unintentionally campy and if Steven Spielberg had been dead he'd have turned in his grave - this is worlds away from the mature story he had to tell in the original, borrowing (or ripping off) only the "Shark terrorises a..." gag.
