I don't remember anything about this legal thriller apart from the twist at the end and the fact that Sean Connery was way too old to play Kate (Mrs Steven Spielberg) Capshaw's husband.
He's a lawyer determined to get to the bottom of a years-old murder case involving a black defendant who appears mentally handicapped, but in true twist thriller style, several ruses are maintained until the climax and the result is a pretty effective everyday thriller.
