What a disappointment for a Bill Murray movie. I'm sure stars Murray and De Niro and director John McNaughton got a charge out of confounding expectations by giving each lead the role that would be tailor made for the other.
It doesn't work, and after 45 minutes of watching De Niro trying to play a sad sack loser and Murray trying to play a scary mobster competing for the attentions of a beautiful damsel (Thurman), I lost interest.
