Meet the Fockers
Year: | 2004 |
Director: | Jay Roach |
Cast: | Ben Stiller, Robert De Niro, Teri Polo, Dustin Hoffman, Barbra Streisand, Blythe Danner, Owen Wilson, Tim Blake Nelson |
A breezy comedy with not a lot to ask of the acting heavyweights that comprise the cast.
Greg (Stiller) and Pam (Polo) have gradually won over the uptight jack (De Niro) to their marriage, now they just have to introduce him to Greg's flower children, ultra-liberal parents, Roz and Bernie (Streisand and Hoffman).
Nothing to challenging, plenty of laughs, and you'll have as much fun as the cats must have.
De Niro, however, has either completely lost his knack for good roles or he's just over caring how much credibility he has in Hollywood and wants to pick roles he enjoys playing; and who are we to judge that?
