Independence Day producer/director team Dean Devlin and Roland Emmerich started out with this neat little helicopter-based sci-fi flick, before making a much bigger splash with Stargate a few years later.
Most of the plot is long gone in memory, but it concerns a space shopper pilot (Pare) involved in the ongoing wars for resources on other plants. The action and design is dark and has a good 'clanky industrial' feel that works well and promised great things to come from the duo.
