My Stepmother in an Alien

Pretty stupid, completely banal comedy about a windowed nerdy father (Aykroyd) who ends up falling in love with an alien (Basinger). The only part that sticks in memory are the ultra-cheap special effects of the superimposed fireworks outside the bedroom window in the last frame (reference to an earlier joke).
