Nowhere in Africa

Year: 2001
Director: Caroline Link
The half hour I watched before turning this off was as godawfully boring as staring at African savannha on TV for half an hour.

A Jewish family moves to Africa to flee the Nazis, and from what I can tell from reading about it, the little girl grows up learning how magical and mystical African blacks are and it brings the family together through various cliched hardships.
