Nowhere to Run

Obviously made in a slow work year for Arquette if she agreed to appear in this formulaic and coloured-blocks plot Van Damme vehicle. The elements are all there, the story is incidental, the hero is superhero-like in his abilities, the nudity and sex come at the expected time and frequency. Absolutely no style and very little substance as an escaped convict (Van Damme) lands on the farm of a beautiful divorcee (Arquette) and goes on to battle corporate thugs trying to drive her off her land.
