The epitome of a big studio rom-com. A young woman (Tomei) is sure she's missing something in life and realises what it is in a burst of romantic hope. She hears the name of a man, a name conjured up years before by a Ouija board and which belongs to the man she believes she's destined to be with. With best friend (Hunt) in tow, she goes straight to Italy to track him down. Expected swoons and long aaaahs follow as she finds Mr Right (Downey Jr) and buries the fairytale. Tomei is irresistible and Downey breezes through adequately, made for material so much better.
