The object of much derision among movie-goers, but I think it's got a worse reputation that it deserves only because it came at the onset of Ben Affleck's long low point.

I don't remember too much of the plot, but it's Christmas and a group of crooks are planning to hit a casino. Rudy (Affleck) is reluctantly made to join them by the psychotic Gabriel (Sinise) because he's actually posing as his dead former cellmate to meet Gabriel's hot sister Ashley (Theron).

But the chance of getting it on with the luscious girl is hardly worth his life, and as the crew descend on the casino in the Christmas snows to carry out their increasingly dangerous plan, Rudy's number looks to be up.

Legendary director John Frankenheimer's last film is a great-looking flick that moves fast and has a good sense of action and tension, and screenwriter Kruger has crafted a lively tale of twists and turns.
