The Crimson Rivers

Year: 2000
Director: Mathieu Kassovitz
Cast: Jean Reno, Vincent Cassel
Gallic action mystery with two of the biggest names in French cinema as cops on the trail of two very different crimes who discover they're working on the same case.

It all leads back to a mysterious mountain town overlooked by a university with some shocking secrets.

I watched this because of an apparently credibility I'd gleaned from movie magazines, but it was neither exciting nor action packed enough to really stand out.
