What else do you need to know that isn't in the title? Convict Jon Voight takes whippernsapper Eric Roberts with him as they bust out of a high security prison in the frozen wastes of Alaska. They stow away aboard a goods train to make their escape and for reasons I can't remember, the train has no driver and is out of control.
There's a railway worker stranded on board as well, but being a movie it isn't a hard drinking old fat guy but a svelte, sexy young woman in the shape of Rebecca De Mornay.
As the train hurtles further into the blizzard, we cut back to the controllers and dedicated cop on the trail on the escapee's trails and their attempts to intercept or stop the train before it crashes into MacGuffintown (or whatever it is) at the end of the line.
From an original script by Akira Kurosawa, who was slated to direct, it's an okay, partly exciting, by-numbers Hollythriller.
