Pretty stupid comedy by the Broken Lizard troupe, a bunch of drama friends following a similar path to other much more talented comedy companies over the years, from the 2nd City people to Zucker/Abrahams Kentucky Fried theatre.
Playing a bunch of bored highway patrolmen, they spend their time alternating between playing dumb games with drivers who pass through their county and fighting with the local state police division.
Some laughs, a bit of romance, nothing special. Brian Cox's appearance gives away the timing more than his own talent; this was before Adaptation, X Men 2 or the other films that made him a bona fide star.
