One woman gangbanger Queen Latifah brings her signature persona to the screen; that of a fast talking Brooklyn sistah-girl who gives up her job as a death-defying bike courier to follow her dreams of driving a hotted-up taxi in new York.
At the same time, useless cop (Jamie Fallon) on his last chance to prove himself with his implausibly hot commander (Jennifer Esposito) is hot on the trail of a gang of crackerjack female bank robbers. In a classic odd couple pairing, the cop finds himself in the newly minted taxi and the duo have to work together to bring the bad girls (led by supermodel Giselle Bundchen) down.
It's funny and has a smattering of interesting car chase sequences, but it's all thoroughly predictable.
