Trojan Warrior

Year: 2002
Director: Salik Silverstein
Cast: Mark Jackson
A neat and tightly scripted little crime/comedy caper that, despite no fanfare (or a cinema release) deserved more praise than many films to come from Australian producers this year.

With a nod to Snatch's character structure, it weaves a sordid tale of revenge and organised crime in Melbourne's underworld, with a variety of babes, hard heads and thugs (including Mark I'm an Individual Jackson in a role tailor made for his 'skills') on the trail of the loot.

You have to forgive the rough edges of both the acting and the action sequences - the script and pacing are both pretty snappy.
