I found this comedy likeable despite losing its way towards the end and going on a little long despite excellent comic performances from all involved, especially the slapstick antics of neurotic Perry.

The storyline's a little too complicated to outline, suffice to say that Perry, a miserably married dentist, gets wound up in mob hits after a contract killer moves next door. Love, laughs and death ensue, and everyone ends up happy.

Seemingly an inoffensive comedy, it turns fairly grotesque in parts when dealing with mob killings, and the murder of Clarke Duncan as Willis' compadre right at the end is right out of left field and seems too brutal for the story. Set up like a million other Hollywood movies where the criminals are the heroes, then shockingly lets us watch as they're picked off like it's Goodfellas.
