Wild Thornberrys

Year: 2002
Director: Cathy Malkasian/Jeff McGrath
Cast: Tim Curry, Lynne Redgrave, Lacey Chalbert
A cartoon for kids. What are you going to say? If you like that sort of thing, lap it up. While not the most stereotypical idea (the various characters fit together well), everything's mapped out by generations of its ancestors right back to the time of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves.

A family of documentary filmmakers travels around Africa, the youngest girl can talk to animals. She gets caught up trying to bring poachers to justice - you get the idea. Some funny lines, but not to the extent Pixar movies appeal to grown ups. The girl is voiced by Anjelica Huston's assistant in Daddy Day Care, the girl who played the heroine in Not Another Teen Movie.
